Human AU, college AU. There is no mandatory need to watch 'Japan Sinks: 2020' before reading this, but the main plot of the show as well as some of the events will be mentioned. The plot will be explained through the story anyway.
The world goes to chaos when an earthquake shakes the whole planet's surface.
Reports of a harmless, yet unique earthquake all around the world are reported, but little do they know that it was only the beginning. Nobody would expect another earthquake that put the whole human race at risk.

Virgil has the next couple years of his life planned out: he'll graduate from high school and study Graphic Design in college. His roommate will be his best friend, Roman. At the end of college, he'll move into an apartment, get a boyfriend and start his life. But as he gets caught up in how he really wouldn't mind that boyfriend to be Roman, his high school throws a three-day school trip at him and his friends. He gets placed in a cabin with not only Roman, but his two other friends Patton and Logan. The four of them are also in an activity group together, which means that the four of them will be around each other for most, if not all, of the 72-hour period. So, here Virgil is. Stuck far away from home in a cabin with his crush. For three. Whole. Days.
