"J-Jeff," I whispered.
"Yeah BEN?" He looked over at me shyly.
"How do you tell somebody you love them?" I asked hesitantly.
"I guess you just tell them. Why do you ask?"
"I love you." I said looking up from my lap.
"W-What? How can you love ME? BEN! Of all people," he gestered to the people around us partying. "You chose me?" he looked at me in disbelief.
"Yes." I whispered looking at my feet. "I choose you because to me, your beautiful inside and out." I walked away and out of the party ignoring Jeff calling my name. I ran in the woods tears streaming down my face. When I made it to the lake, I cried harder and jumped.

My tears finally ran down my face. I'm glad my parents aren't home. I don't want them to see me like this. **************** When I almost walked off I felt someone grab my hand. My heart skipped a beat when I turned around. Sam was holding my hand and her lips touched mine. I had no reaction but happiness. Why is she kissing me? Without thinking I kissed her back. I moved back and looked down at the floor nervously laughing. I rubbed the back of my neck apologizing but she cut me off. " I-I'm sorry I just really like you and I-i uh didn't mean to." Sam said about to close the door in embarrassment. I grabbed her hand again pulling her into a small hug. My heart was racing and my face was really red. It was burning and I could feel it.
