The world has it out for Kieran. If there were a horrible life contest, Kieran would surely have the diamond trophy. The universe however, wasn't satisfied with just one world giving Kieran the most absolute shit, so the boy finds himself dealing with problems in another dimension, as if his life wasn't already hectic on Earth.
He discovers the land of magic, finds out he's part of a prophecy that predicts the end of all worlds and gods- yes that's right. Gods. As if one isn't already enough.
Demigods, magic, death, demons, amidst love, friendship, and betrayal.
A new set of burden weighs on his shoulders as he has to make the decision of lying to his family and venturing to the land of Exousia with mages to try and stop a vengeful evil from rising and a war that marks the end of all worlds.

Disclaimer: this book is lgbtq friendly, and has more than one love interest. there is no love triangle, but there is a poly romance vibe. it is teen fiction, so it does not get explicit. There are mentions of past bullying (but again nothing too explicit), a near-death experience when a character nearly sacrifices themselves for the good fo the group, and isolation-related trauma. The main character does not participate in SH and there is no SA. Dianna is free. Finally. Now she just wants to stay that way.
