Some are given the option of abolishing their guilt. They sit in Death's house as they drink to forget their past sins. They are born into the next life with no memories of the person they used to be, if that is what they choose. But some have sins too great, the atrocities they have committed are never allowed to be forgotten. They are born into the next life with pain, guilt, and sorrow, knowing the person they used to be. And some don't get a next life. There are few sins so great that one can never be reborn. Not in the traditional sense.
