When a girl from the modern world traveled back in the past and met a young king, both of them created a dramatic tale of love that intrigued and left a mark on the history of ancient Mesopotamia. - Euphemia, an aspiring historian, finds herself thrown into the period of the cuneiform world; the place where the first civilization on Earth arose-Mesopotamia. As she struggles to fight against the norms and survive in the cruel world of Mesopotamia, a young tyrant enters the equation. Zimri-Lim is the last heir of the kingdom of Mari and the contemporary of Hammurabi. When his father was killed, he left the kingdom and forcibly fled to the nearby city-state. After several years had passed, he decided to reclaim his throne, and he began his reign by deposing the King of Assyria. He came close to losing his humanity for the sake of power and authority. It turns out, he gets everything he wants, but not until he meets Euphemia, a girl from the future. Euphemia tries to avoid him but ends up finding her way into his heart. It doesn't take them very long to realize that they are drawn into a passionate love and are secretly breaking the Mesopotamian law. An ancient romantic tale set in the times of ancient Mesopotamia.

Everyone she loves has made the same decision. They just haven't told each other yet. The lies are spent. The performances are over. The enemy that was a rumor is at the gates, and the only people who can stop it are the four who are quietly planning to destroy one another to do it. One of them will write a thousand names into clay and call it mercy. One of them will walk into a child's room with a blade and a reason that works. One of them will offer up the thing that cannot be replaced. And one of them already knows how this ends, and is doing it anyway. There is a night coming when the oaths go silent, and anything can be unmade. Three clocks are ticking toward it. None of them are coincidence. Love won't save them. Being right won't save them. The math is clean, and the math is monstrous, and someone they love is the price. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘵 𝘞𝘢𝘳𝘴 --- 𝘉𝘰𝘰𝘬 𝘛𝘸𝘰. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘦𝘯𝘥. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘦𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘴. 𝘚𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘥𝘦𝘣𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦.
