Alexandra Montgomery lives in the wealthiest neighborhood in San Diego, California. At least that's what her adoptive mom tells everyone when they shop at Whole Foods. To be honest, Alexandra could care less about all this rich people stuff. She wishes her parents would feel the same way about whether she was a girly girl or not. For the record, she would rather be on the court in her Nike's, than in heels in a ballroom wearing formal attire. Her best friend, Grayson Thompson, knows all of this all too well. Yet, he never gets envious or jealous of what she has. You see, he lives in the poorest neighborhood in San Diego.
Since Alex was five, she's always been one of the boys. Guy stuff just comes naturally to her. She has this certain demeanor about her, that makes all guys gravitate towards her. And before you even think about it, its not because they want to hook up. She just can chill with guys and not be super sensitive all the time. Now, she does have rules when it comes to guys being friends with her, both for them and for herself, :
1. Never call her Alexandra, always call her Alex
2. Never go easy on her
3. Don't catch feelings (this goes for both parties)
4. Always have good vibes
5. Don't talk behind ANYONE'S back
6. Follow the rules
It's just that simple. Follow these rules, and no one gets hurt. What happens when Alex realizes that, sometimes, rules are meant to be broken?
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
