The year 296 AC

Kim Taehyung is the well known and greatly loved guard of the city's favorite king, living a life of luxury, but most importantly; living a life of pride and gratification.

Yet when he hears that the king is dead, and most surprisingly; killed, his status as the king's guard suddenly becomes a sensitive topic among the folks of the city. 

They might not accuse him of the murder, instead, they blame him for not fulfilling his job's purpose. 

Taehyung awaits an unknown fate and is sent to the dungeons beneath the king's throne hall. What he doesn't expect, is to meet a boy there who is also awaiting an unknown fate. 

"I'm glad they put you here." The boy said to Taehyung, a small smile on his face. "Maybe now, they won't forget they put me here too."
