Red was 15 when the infection started , no one thought anything of it at first . It was just an itch here and a fever there soon it was a bite here and a death there .
She lived on her own even before the infection and she was grateful , at least her parents didn't have to go through this hell .
Red was on her own well except for the baby she found who was abandoned on the streets probably doing the chaos of people running around , away for the infected .
Follow the story of Rose and her baby as she fights zombies , goes through early motherhood with her baby named baby and maybe finds true love . But remember nothing ever lasts in the Apocalypse .

It had been six years since the first case of Naegleria Fowleri was reported in a hospital in Bishop Parish, Louisiana. The second case was reported in Arkansas one month later. By the end of that year, the sickness had completely consumed the entirety of the United States, Mexico, and South America, and had swept over half of Canada. It had been five years since the sickness had mutated and the first corpse had risen. And in the five years since...life on earth had been changed forever. Five years wasn't an incredibly long stretch of time, but it was long enough for nearly an entire hemisphere to be thrown into utter chaos and then complete collapse. Five years was long enough for millions of people to be lost and anything resembling normalcy to be blown on the wind. There was no hope of normal, of safe or secure, when the world had fallen apart and the dead walked the earth... It had been one month since she had been tested for the gene, one month since she had left her family and had been taken to The Sanctuary where the other carriers were kept. She had been attended to by a physician, fed so well it seemed almost shameful, and watched closely for signs that she was nearing her most fertile days. It had been three weeks since she had been permanently marked as a carrier, permanently set apart from the rest of the world. The Touch of Infection
Carisa's been running for her life the past two years. Loosing her loved ones and anyone she grows close to. The apocalypse was caused by an alien raise coming to earth and proclaiming they'll fix the planet. Their way to 'fix' it being destroying humanity with a plague. However they didn't expect the human body to be as persistent as it is, the infection they spread mutating and making humans reanimate with a hunger for flesh. They thought they could contain it, control it even, but it's spreading faster than they thought. The world is dying faster than ever before. And Carisa only want to survive, to make it to the next day, bumping into an Alien she thought she'd be petrified. But upon further inspection... their not that much different that humans. Curiosity at its peek with both of them and so she gains a tail always creeping behind her. The aliens just won't let her go. Story is written on my free time so it has a lot of typos, sorry.
