A cliched B-list survival scenario: a zombie apocalypse. Just, a bit different. The zombies... stronger. The apocalypse... longer. And the heroes of the story? ▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰ According to Wikipedia, humans are terrestrial animals, characterized by their open-ended and complex language use compared to other animal communications and highly advanced and organized societies, among other things. Humanity has engaged in rhetoric and mythos for as long as it has existed. In fact, some of the ancient stories still remain, the Epic of Gilgamesh being an example commonly brought up. But what if the mythology of humanity was more than just that? What if a large portion of it was actually grounded in reality? Take a zombie apocalypse, for instance. Originating from Haitian folklore, the zombie made its way into pop mythos. We all know that they aren't real; even the US government uses them in exercises to make the situation fictional. But what if these zombies were real? ▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰▰ May contain depictions of gore or violence. Reader discretion is advised. Irregular releases; I'll write when I feel like it. It could be daily at one point and annually at another. Averages out to weekly releases. Please provide feedback, as this is my first time writing and I really don't know what I'm doing. All hail f3.
