 This is an AU I've had in the works for quite some time now! I've always wanted to see an AU where Kokichi was really WAS the mastermind, so I decided to create one myself! That being said, all of the deaths and executions will be different than the actual game! This is my own spin on things with the occasional plot hole fix (like Tsumugi's Cospox thing, there was a bit of a plothole in the game-). 
 With all that being said, I hope you enjoy this AU!

 And I ask that everyone PLEASE be nice about some of the deaths, and who survives and who doesn't, and all that, I put a lot of effort into this AU. I understand if you dislike something I've wrItten, but please keep harsh comments to yourself.

It's been about a year since the thirteen of them woke from the living hell that was the Killing Game. Ever since, they've been living together in a strange new world where their old memories are next to meaningless. Kokichi still feels the effects of the game a year later; although, he only has himself to blame for not being able to get past his guilt. Still, he hopes to be able to, one day, feel like he has earned his place among the others and maybe even feel like he can belong. And Miu, Kokichi and Gonta all got out of the VR together for shit to go down... An AU where case 4 never happened but instead an unlikely trio that will be the new killing game busters... Will this be interesting, I wonder? Puhuhuhu. Miu, Kokichi and Gonta are my favourite trio. I BROT3 them so much because Miu and Gonta are people who are actually Kokichi's allies even if he doesn't trust people all that much with the inventions and bodyguard. Also I love their interactions although Miu and Gonta together are a little lacking... but really... just love em. I just want better for them, really.
