Pierce Harrington was six when the biggest and bloodiest rebellion in all of human history took place. It lasted two horrific years, but at the end the rebels had won. Not that it was a great win, however; because although the government was overthrown, all that remained was miles of ruins.

Flash forward ten years, and America is still barely getting by. Pierce has been on his own ever since his parents were killed in the rebellion. His parents were more than just another deceased, however; they were the leaders of the rebellion, and Pierce is expected to follow their footsteps.

And he does just that. Pierce has created a community of kids who have also lost their parents. He is the leader; a respected, loved one. That's not the only thing that makes him special- he has the ability to control and manipulate minds, turning him not just an extraordinary person, but a dangerous one.

Everything changes when Pierce gets knocked out one day, and is left with a serious head injury. Adele, a young legacy with the power to control bodies, but not even close to strong enough to reveal them, takes Pierce to the closest healer she can find; the parents of Kendall. And that is just the start.

Six minds will be connected, each holding more power than thought imaginable. Six minds will create a new government, only to receive horrific threats to destroy all they've worked for; all the people they've managed to save. Six minds must stop a second rebellion from breaking out, not only for the sake of them, but for the knowledge of knowing the thousands of deaths from merely a decade ago weren't in vain.

Bound by Blood (An Anya Maynard Novel) by Mimm83

*Book Three of the Anya Maynard Series* Life has never been easy for Anya. It seems like her entire life she has fought for, well, her life and these days death threats have become the norm. Mated to the Alpha of the Appalachian pack and daughter of the Alpha on High himself she was amply protected, but as a half-breed of human and the purest of werewolf lines there were plenty who would see her dead simply for what she was, never mind the rift she had caused by shifting power equally to the females as well as males. Not bad for someone who had only learned of her wolf heritage a year ago. But with trouble brewing along the southern borders her soul mate, Connor, is left with no choice but to travel without her to evaluate the situation. In his absence it’s Anya that’s in charge. This is her chance to prove she was capable of everything she promised the females were…and it has left her overwhelmed. Throw in the physical and mental exhaustion she feels because of the strain the distance is putting on her soul bond with Connor and she can’t help but doubt her abilities. There was still so much she didn’t know about her race or even the beings in her own town… Things compound when a chance encounter reveals a new enemy, one just as powerful as the wolves…and not of this world. Before Anya and her pack can figure their motives someone very close to her disappears and another is beaten and left for dead. They’re left with more questions than answers and the only wolf that can help is a stranger new to town, a woman claiming to be of Anya’s blood. Anya doesn’t want to believe this woman-her father was her only kin-but even she can see the similarities between the two… …including the woman’s own supernatural gift.

A place where several different countries came together to create a place where they can all live in peace until Earth is a safe place to live in once again. With oxygen supply running short, possibly gone within the next four months, there was only one thing left to do; send 100 convicts under the age of eighteen down to the dangerous terrain that is planet Earth. Almost everyone aboard The Ark knew about the tale of Octavia Blake, the girl who lived under the floorboards for around sixteen years, but her story pales in comparrison to Olivia Ross', the girl who was ripped away from her family the moment she was born. All because she was a twin. It was against the law to have more than one child on The Ark due to supplies available, but after a misdiagnosis, Liv's mother had twins rather than just the expected son. This immediately resulting in her jail sentence. Except when Liv finds herself two weeks away from reaching the dreaded age of eighteen, she's soon casted down to Earth along with ninety nine others just like herself. Liv knew that this journey would be dangerous, but she never expected to see the one person she had desired to meet most; her twin brother. [season one] [book one of the olivia ross series]
