When sent away by her grandfather to the states to deliver something to a warlock she discovers that the flock tales her grandfather narrated to her were not all lies. Join her in her journey along with her friends a hotheaded witch, a boy that returned from his death bed with amnesia, and a werewolf that takes pleasure in eating raw flesh. 

Did I forget to mention she is half human half snake? A nag, a shape-shifting serpent to be more specific.

With a  dark army in creation by the nightwalkers and creatures that had long left the earth being summoned by them to accomplish something that no one ever thought could have been possible.
