This is a short story about a person suffering from unrequited love and a fictional disease related to it. Trying his best to live with the condition that can either save him and find love or die and never find love at all.
The Hanahaki disease is a condition wherein one person suffers from one-sided love. It can only be cured when the person reciprocates that same love to the one affected by the disease. It's symptoms are throwing up flower petals and these petals will slowly engulf the persons lungs that will eventually lead to a slow and painful death.
