Every ten years 196 seventeen year old boys and girls are chosen to participate in "The 'Running' Games.
"The 'Running' Games" are a series of challenges based off of your common sense, cleverness, and intellect. In shortened terms they're the Olympics for your mind.
Each country is required by law to choose one seven year old boy or girl to compete and are trained for ten years without their knowing. They're each taught how to fluently speak English, Mandarin Chinese, and Latin.
On the tenth year they mysteriously go missing and are brought to the island of choice to compete. The winner receives rewards beyond the imagination, but the last one to complete each challenge is eliminated and never to be heard from again.

This adventure/love story will be split into different parts. It's the hunger games and maze runner combined! I've never had time to write a book and since I've been quarantined and stuff I figured it would be a good time to make one of my dreams come true! The majority of the quotes are from the movie. All of the characters belong to Ms. Collins. Maddie is the only character that is my original. All of her thoughts are also original.
