Vent poetry

It's frowned upon
putting your heart on your sleeve
with such a weak code 
like a three number pin.

For both of our sakes
I hope you aren't the type
to spend your time 
digging your claws in
and working to decode 
someone else's words
and emotions.

Then again
I also hope you aren't the type 
who frowns upon free verse.

You'd be surprised
how many people
don't see the point of it
if it doesn't rhyme.

Just relate to my words
and not my emotions

As someone who lives with depression and anxiety, a lot of my thoughts are bound to not be very pleasant. But hey, some of them are quite philosophical and positive. But that's rare. Join me on my journey through sadness, happiness, curiosity, mystery, and so much more. I was inspired to make a collection of my poems, and I decided to just do it. Also, you should know that I will try to crack jokes or be funny in my serious poems. It's just how I am. Another thing, I do enjoy making things rhyme. Btw, some poems are going to be much better than others. My brain just works strangely. I also really hope my writing doesn't offend anyone. If it does, I do deeply apologize. I'm mainly just doing this all for myself. Just wanna get all my words saved somewhere. If my humor or anything else offends you, I am deeply sorry for that. Sometimes I just have no clue what I'm saying. I just type what's in my mind. Ps, this is not a cry for help. I'm doing fine, but I have dark thoughts. I can't help it. And to the person who a lot of these poems are based on, I am genuinely sorry. I never wish to write this type of stuff about anyone. This is just how I'm dealing with the pain you caused me. I know you'll never see this, but still. I hate being so hateful. That was always your thing.

These poems are just some of the little pieces that make up my life. Whenever I get inspired by someone or something, I write a little story about it in the form of a poem. In a way, it helps me express what I have in my mind in a very vague way. I'm not that kind of a direct person, but there are things that are sometimes, better to kept secret. Here, these poems are what I wanted to say to my friends, to other important people, to people in general, to the world around me, to life and each detail it possesses. Each poem has a central theme, and around that revolves a certain story that I want to impart, something too delicate to be expressed directly, something too complicated. Someone gets bullied, Just because "They're different" "Nerdy" "Annoying" "Have no sense of fashion..." All those things are of unimportance...! Everyone has a choice, Don't let what someone says, change it! You could stand down... Watch as the victim pleads for help... That's the easy path, But is it the right one? Do you want that on your consciousness? The pain can be so bad... It takes a life... Then it's too late, Regret becomes your best mate... A depressing thought... Although. It doesn't have to be that way...! YOU can make it change! Stand tall, speak loud, Stand up for what is right! That one action... Can save a life...! You could make a friend, A REAL friend. Spread awareness and Right the wrong! Be brave! For those who suffer... You're not alone...! If there's no knight to slay The evil demons away... Find it within you, to be strong! If you get no help, save yourself! You deserve happiness, and it will come! For karma never forgets you! Nor your enemies... Once it comes around, it will go around... Speak out, you will be heard...! The era of bullying will be no longer...!"

I'm posting this looking for some feedback. Any constructive criticism will be greatly appreciated. Writing has always provided me with solace, by helping me to sort through and frame my emotional experience. During one of the more difficult times in my life--recognizing a toxic marriage and leaving--I used writing to understand what was happening. The poems, short stories, and essays here reflect my fragmented journey toward mental health. Works of art, they are not. However, I hope they can help others with their own journeys, even if only to provide comfort in knowing that they are not alone. Hi!!! i am making this new book just for my poetry. i will be a little inconsistent at first as my exams are going on so it might take more than 2 weeks to post them but as soon as my exams are done i will try to post again. thank u. All the poems inside are original and have been written about some personal issues. A few poems will come off as dark and depressing but those were written when i was feeling down and depressed. i have the copywright claim for all the poems. soo do not copy my work. it takes a lot from a person to write a poem filled with emotions.
