What is the path of the soul, after it's demise? Is there such a thing as a second chance? A miracle to grant an easy life for one's "second chance"? If so, would your past sin's come back to haunt you? Would the karma one has wracked up lead to their next life is even worse than their first?
For instance, if one had once been a serial killer?
This is the story of a young man named "Jack". Whom finds himself summoned to another world in a chaotic shift of magic after passing away from old age. With a book and blade shoved into his arms and an apology from an old mage as he was teleported away from what appeared to be an earthquake, he is tossed into a chaotic world of darkness and magic.
Taking inspiration from the popular concept of reincarnation and rebirth in another world after death, we delve into a dark world of magic. Following the story of a psychologically broken protagonist attempting to adapt to this harsh world, without falling into the darkness that ruled his heart in life.

"It hurts... it hurts so much..." tears fell from her bloodied face as she lay motionless fearing to move due to the pain "Little human child, thou art saved thy kin for thy now am thankful for thou art bravery and selflessness" a voice echoed through her head as she slowly looked around to see the cub she saved bathe in her blood but knowing it wasn't injured brought a smile to her face "Thy art now shall blessed thee with thy gift of power and blessing to be able to live once thy again" she looks beside the fox cub only to see another bigger sized fox which she though was the cubs mother "I'm glad... I'm glad your safe...." she gave them a weak yet pure gentle smile before the darkness fully enveloped her in its cold embraceComplete
Tea Time and Cookies: A (not so) Quiet Beginning
Life ended quietly. Rebirth? Not so much. I'd lived a perfectly normal nerd-life: a family, a career, too many hobbies, and a purse full of "just-in-case" items. Gardening, old crafting techniques, reading, manga, animé-especially the alternate-world kind. If I had one regret, it was not traveling as much as I'd wanted. But all things end eventually. I expected nothingness... or whatever reward awaited after a long, fulfilling life. Instead, I woke up to the very real problem of a massive creature trying to eat me. I'd been reborn into another world. I should have been thrilled, right? With very little to go on-aside from the fact that magic existed here-I decided the smartest approach was to keep a low profile and train like crazy. Survive first. Explore later. My new family seemed pleasantly surprised (and occasionally alarmed) by my dedication to both physical and magical training. And once I started attending school, I made fast friends... then accidentally convinced them to apprentice under my father. The more the merrier, I figured. But hiding my abilities is proving harder than expected, and the more I grow, the more certain people seem unsettled by my existence. Surviving to adulthood may be the real challenge. ⚠️ READER NOTICE This story is written and published by AlphaNyte. Unauthorized copies of my work have appeared on mirror sites. Barry was a normal depressed teen in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. He has two siblings and a best friend. *UNKNOWN ANOMALY DETECTED* "Ahhh, the negative energy from his soul is strong indeed. The White Hare
Dying from unknown means, a man suddenly finds himself reborn in another world as... a hare? Now, with a system straight out of an rpg or an isekai lightnovel, "Jack" has to survive being at the bottom of the food chain in his new home. Luckily he has a great mom and dad to help him out. Perhaps he will even find love in this life. During his journey the man will end up using his experience in his past life to help his new family in this one. Most conflicts arise from the young buck sticking his nose into places he shouldn't or allowing his... unique tastes lead him on his next hijinks. [Also anyone is free to comment. I appreciate the reactions and feedback. This story is meant to be a time killer. It's drawn out and long winded so just to let you know.]
