Seirin High's basketball team is upset. They inevitably lost to Akashi Seijuro and the rest of Rakuzan High's team at the Winter Cup. While most of the players are devastated over the loss, Kuroko Tetsuya is upset that he could not bring back Akashi's old, caring personality. The Emperor's heterochromatic eyes remain and he is still as controlling as ever.
Danielle Adams is an exchange student from America. She's studying abroad for the semester to learn different styles of her favorite sport: wrestling. During her stay at Seirin, Coach Riko Aida enlists Danny's help to beat Rakuzan in an off-season grudge match.
How will the Emperor react to a girl who doesn't know anything about the sport he has manipulated? Will Danielle come out on top, or will Akashi's reign continue?
