Kathy(Keith's female name) is the princess of the Galra Empire who had been at war with another kingdom called, Altea. The only way for the war to be over is for the a heir from the Galra Empire marries the heir of the Altea kingdom. So, when Kathy's mother, Queen Krolia, tells Kathy that she'll have to marry the prince of the Altea kingdom, Kathy got so mad that she ran away. After almost getting kidnapped by the Galra group, which is a group that wants the Alteans gone, and getting saved by a boy named, Lance, Kathy finds out that the group took a royal heirloom that is really important for the good of the kingdom. So Kathy and Lance must go on a quest together to get the heirloom back with friends they meet along the way, but little did Kathy knew was that, Lance was the prince of the Altea kingdom, the person she has to married. Keith just found out he was part Galra and doesn't want to tell anyone. He thinks the team might begin to hate him for it. Lance wanders into Keith's room one night and sees everything. Keith swears him to secrecy creating a secret bond between the two. But is Lance the only one who knows Keith's secret and if not what will the people do when they find out?

**First Klance fic Lance and Keith were always neck and neck and rivals. They rarely spoke to each other and only knew things about each other that they told the whole team, Shiro, Pidge, Hunk, Coran and Allura. They were always off doing their own things and never did things together unless it was for a mission. On such a mission the team got split up. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now. While Keith is a Rogue Galra running from his own kind. When the two meet and Allura sees that Keith can help them destroy Zarkon she ask Keith to join them in fighting and be a paladin for the red lion he agrees. Yet Lance and Keith don't get along well at first but then Pidge seems to notice a blooming romance between the two. Things start to change.

Lance, Pidge, and Hunk are employed by the Garrison, Shiro leads missions off world, Allura and Coran are establishing a new world for the Alteans who'd survived, and the Blade don't need him. Keith works in a coffee shop and gets by the best he can, on the little money he earns. This story is loosely based on the paladins of Voltron. I have not watched all the seasons and have changed the backstory of some characters. I do not own any of the characters in this story, and I do not own any of the artwork. There is smut, swearing, talk of rape, and self-harm in the story. I will not be putting disclaimers at the beginning of the chapters, so if you don't want to read it, move on to another story.
