4 demigods, a chained God, a dead legion of Roman soldiers, and a giant squared up in the arctic..."
Now that just sounds like the beginning to one of Dakota's crappy jokes. Then again, what else are you supposed to think about when a frightened Goddess decides you're a distraction to her quest, freezes you in Alaska for the foreseeable future, kidnaps and wipes your brother's memory, and then sends a scrappy trio on a quest of their own to get you back?
Yeah, Rory didn't really have an answer, either-- but then again, the life of a demigod is always confusing.
Rory Grace finds herself in the cold, alaskan wasteland six months after the guards at Camp Jupiter raised the alarm that her brother, Jason, had gone missing overnight. Instead of being reunited with him, however, she finds herself face-to-face with a graecus named Percy Jackson, who apparently had been part of the exchange program Juno had forced both demigod camps to participate in. Better yet, there was some gods-forsaken prophecy floating around that involved the demigods from Camp Jupiter and their neighboring enemy Greeks. Rory had only slept for six months, and the world had basically lit on fire.
Now, Rory is forced into a world of danger that Jason had spent his whole life trying to shield her from, with only the back-shattering pressure of the fate of their world as they know it looming over her head. Great, right?
Rory's already lost her brother once, but she'll be damned if she loses him again.Todos os Direitos Reservados
