Let Me Be The Last

"You should live a bit, Ms. Smartypants." He scoffed.

Tightening my grip on the fridge door, I rolled my eyes and looked at my back. He's one to talk.

"Maybe tell yourself that. After all, you're the one still stuck in highschool at 24."

Facing back front with a smirk, I opened the fridge door which made me lean on him unintentionally. I've never been in a situation like this, I could smell his cologne that was engulfing. I could feel how hot his body was despite the temperature in the convenience store, and I could feel how it made my body high on alert.

"You know what, maybe I'll do just that Caroline. Live a little, you know play some games, find a love interest. After all, being a highschool teacher means being surrounded by pretty girls."

He chuckles then lower his face near my neck, his breath all over me made me so hot and bothered. Breathing out a strangled breath, the hairs on my back were standing tall and for a second I wondered if I put on perfume earlier.

"Pretty girls like you, Caroline. I'll see you in class tomorrow morning."

And just like that, he's gone. I quickly grabbed the root beer nearest to me and groaned. What's with him? I can't seem to shake him off and I'm already starting to get lightheaded whenever he's near.

I never really took note of him, I'm never even active in his class. After what just happened I am sure I'll be seeing and hearing more of him, but I'm not as bothered with smelling more of him. He's got this intoxicating smell that I can't seem to shake off and it makes me feel hot.

I hate to admit it but Mr. Klaus has a point.
