Daniel had been raised all over the world. Paris, London, Glasgow, Dublin, Vienna, Tokyo, and many other cities around the globe. He also had a love for history, world history to be specific. At six he became a fan of professional wrestling and was an avid fan of the hit TV ans movie series called Highlander which mixed his love of history and also something he took up when he was sixteen years old when his father disappeared, leaving him and his mother alone, so to keep his mind busy. He found a passion for swordplay and swordsmanship as well as Martial Arts. His history and experience and expertise became the basis of his wrestling style. He went all over the world. Under the ring name The Sword as his chops and kicks were no joke. Some opponents he faced in NJPW and the European Indie's were afraid of losing their head's or the ability to use their arms, legs among other things. His time in the European Indie's caught the attention of WWE. In mid-2018 during a tryout match he was able to control the power of his punches, chops and kicks. He made his debut at Hell In A Cell that same year. It wasn't until a week before Survivor Series that he met Maryse Ouellet. Who was married to Mike 'The Miz' Mizanin at the time and she was less than happy with her marriage to him. Daniel tries to stay out of it. But when a big bad argument, and out of sheer frustration with her husband Mike, Maryse starts crashing in Daniel's hotel room every night, but what began as an innocent safe haven for her, quickly became something more as a few days before TLC she and him gave into their desire for one another.
