(btw symbols will have their gender includes right pronouns for trans people and circle or other like nonbinary or whatever and then the name first letter of the persons first name)

On your 16th birthday, you will wake up with a necklace on you, you can not take the necklace off or else you will be forever single the necklace is half heart, the person you are meant to be with has the other half, once you put them together, If the other half is the right person than the necklace will turn into rings and will be on you forever to symbolize that you are with the right one.

If you take off your necklace then your soulmate will be contacted with someone who doesn't have a soulmate, if you take off your necklace you can meet someone that also doesn't have one on and get together. Also if you're older than your partner then the letter after the gender will appear once they turn 16.

The Girls with the Flame Tattoos by artsykid04
15 parts Complete Mature
In this society, everyone has a soulmate. And the way to find yours is just look. Along with a soulmate, everyone has a small tattoo on their cheek with a symbol. Some could be a star, a flower, a yinyang, a fish, or even waves. There are so many people that the symbols are almost limitless. The tattoos don't care about gender or number. There could be gay matches, and there could even be polyamorous matches. The tattoos will tingle when you are near to your sm. And they will glow if you have found only one of your sm's if your match was poly. The trick is, you don't get the tattoo until you are 16. And even if you are near your match, as long as one of you are not of age, your tattoo will not tingle. Also, they are normal tattoos (except you don't get it or choose it, it just appears) so you can get rid of it. But if you do, your sm won't die but they will get very sick. The main characters of this story, Violet West (18) and Harper Black (20), both have a flame tattoo on their cheek. They live in the same state but for 4 years Harper paniced because she couldn't find her match. She wasn't sure if it was because her sm wasn't of age yet or if her sm lived far away. For 2 years Violet also paniced but she knew that some people don't find their sm for 5-10 years after they come of age, so she wasn't as scared as Harper. One day though, they feel their tattoos start to tingle. ____________________________________ *Will they be happy with who their soulmate turns out to be? *Will they recognize each other? *Will they be happy? *Will they break apart? -Read to find out. :) ____________________________________ This book is rated mature because there is a lot of talk of depression and self harm. So if you feel uncomfortable with reading about that.. this book is not for you.

28 parts Complete

Bakudeku Fanfiction here. In this AU there is a soulmate system. When you turn 16 you receive a ring with your soulmates birth stone. The band corresponds to your soulmates gender and on the inside of the band the date is inscribed. For insistence someone whose soulmate identifies as non-binary with a birthday on April third would receive a bronze ring with a diamond and inscribed 3. Female equals gold and male = silver. I will try my hardest not to make this too angsty for y'all.
