Lauren Xavier doesn't seem to fit in anywhere. She's not a mutant, but she was raised by them. She might be a demigod, but only a minor one, with no real place at camp. Sure, she has friends, like any other kid. She has hobbies. Things she likes and doesn't like. Things she's afraid of. So why did she feel like the outcast in any and every situation? She wanted to try to figure it all out. She really did. But she needed more time. Time she most likely didn't have.

Cristina Hestia Love was a mechanic, young as she is. The Little Mechanic. That's what they used to call her, back when she was in that place. How she hated what they had done to her. What she had become because of it. But maybe something good can be made from something bad. Maybe she can make it up to her brother, and sisters and give them a real family. With real parents who cared. Maybe. But she still needs a little more time.

Caster and Pollux Lancaster did what they could for their mother, not that she cared. She was drunk most of the time, or in rehab. The two brothers, twins, still loved her with everything they had despite the foster homes they had ended up in because of her. The scars they had because of her. They had the option to leave. To go to camp and live with their father. And they did, when she was in rehab. But as soon as she was sent home they were hers and only hers. That is until they have to choose. Save camp or save mom. They needed more time to decide. If they could just have a little more time with their mom. And a little more time with each other.

What happens when these four, and many others like them, come together to start a band. Will they be able to help each other and keep each other afloat... and alive?

She realizes that the Winter Soldier is Bucky, the love of her life. She has to save him, I mean she does owe him her life. She turns to the last people she wants to, the Avengers. The Avengers don't know if they should help her, since they just finished Ultron and since she is a highly-trained, world-known, Grade A assassian. Steve begs them to help. They agree but don't trust her. They save Bucky and see who he was and who she was. They then ask them to join the Avengers. Bucky declines the offer, wanting to live a normal life, but Elizabeth doesn't know if she should join her her brother, fighting evil with her unnatural powers, or stay with Bucky, living a sort of normal life. Who will she choose? She loves them both and doesn't want to leave them. She can't decide, but with this Civil War, she won't have to. Tony doesn't want to work with her, but Steve still wants her help. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This book takes place after Age of Ultron and goes into Civil War. Also, I obviously matured a lot in five years, so while the first chapters are more cliche and light - not to mention a bit cringy - the last chapters are deeper and more interesting, better written and so freaking long) A/N: I love ALL of the characters of the series (shocking! I even think of Luke as a hero, Jason as a good guy and Piper as smart and generous girl!) and my life goes beyond my bf. That being said, I should warn you that you won't find hate for Jason or such in here. I actually keep a list with my chapters so I can equally balance the same amount of POV between all of them(or try to). You'll find small amount of couple actions, but mostly, family interactions, friends, studies, jobs, pet, hobbies and some "me time" for the characters.
