Lauren Xavier doesn't seem to fit in anywhere. She's not a mutant, but she was raised by them. She might be a demigod, but only a minor one, with no real place at camp. Sure, she has friends, like any other kid. She has hobbies. Things she likes and doesn't like. Things she's afraid of. So why did she feel like the outcast in any and every situation? She wanted to try to figure it all out. She really did. But she needed more time. Time she most likely didn't have.

Cristina Hestia Love was a mechanic, young as she is. The Little Mechanic. That's what they used to call her, back when she was in that place. How she hated what they had done to her. What she had become because of it. But maybe something good can be made from something bad. Maybe she can make it up to her brother, and sisters and give them a real family. With real parents who cared. Maybe. But she still needs a little more time.

Caster and Pollux Lancaster did what they could for their mother, not that she cared. She was drunk most of the time, or in rehab. The two brothers, twins, still loved her with everything they had despite the foster homes they had ended up in because of her. The scars they had because of her. They had the option to leave. To go to camp and live with their father. And they did, when she was in rehab. But as soon as she was sent home they were hers and only hers. That is until they have to choose. Save camp or save mom. They needed more time to decide. If they could just have a little more time with their mom. And a little more time with each other.

What happens when these four, and many others like them, come together to start a band. Will they be able to help each other and keep each other afloat... and alive?

COMPLETED WE PROTECT After the war with Tartarus, things start winding down. Camp Jupiter heads for California, Magnus and his friends go back to Boston, and Carter, Sadie, Walt, and Zia head back to Brooklyn. But the Avengers stay. Because Percy needs them now more then ever. After getting run through with Tartarus's Under-worldly sword, Percy needs all the help he can get. The Grove of Dodona gave some helpful pointers such as, "Don't be afraid of your fate." He's trying, but will he ever get better? DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT OWN PERCY JACKSON OR MOST CHARACTERS. Okay, so I'd just like to say that this is not well written whatsoever lol. All the grammar is correct, and there's some decent description, but it all feels very rushed if I'm honest. I tried to cram too many ideas in and yeah, it made.. whatever this is. Uh, I have some one-shots on my profile which might be better to read?... If you don't mind a fic being rushed this is probably great for you, lol, but the plot line is very higgledy piggeldy. Um, enjoy? Percy X Apollo Percy Jackson is tired. Of everything. He and Annabeth broke up after the fall into Tartarus, neither being able to look at the other the same way. Sure, they stayed friends, but that doesn't make Percy feel any better about it. Some of the gods are concerned, but Zeus is forbidding them from checking in on him, intent on leaving demigods alone despite all they've done for the Olympians. Apollo, however, is ignoring this order. He cares a little too much about Percy to watch him suffer in silence. But when a new threat arises, how will the Olympians handle it? How will the demigods handle it? This is very all over the place, but I think it turned out well in the end. (This is future me in brackets, btw, it did not turn out well lmao). In this story, Nico is overprotective of Percy (still solangelo though) as a best friend. He's forgiven Percy for the whole ordeal about Bianca and now they're pretty close, both confiding in each other about things they never thought they'd tell a soul. The ships are: Pipabeth - Piper + Annabeth Chrisse - Clarisse + Chris Solangelo - Nico + Will Valgrace (platonic) - Jason + Leo because I despise Caleo sorry lmao Perpollo - Percy + Apollo I do not own any of these characters, all rights are to Rick Riordan other than the storyline/plot.
