What happened after the battle of five armies? Well we're going to find out. Kili, FIli and Thorin survived, you could say because of a miracle. But here, what matters is what happened to Kiliel. Hope you enjoy it! It contains spoilers from the Hobbit and it's of course not cannon, it will have some things that Tolkien wrote other way.
This is a fanfic that happens in Middle Earth, that was created by Tolkien, as well as most of the characters in this story. I give him full credit for this amazing land, and most of it's characters. And Peter Jackson has the credit of Tauriel and some dialogues.
I want to say, that English is not my mother language, so I'm really sorry if there is any mistake. Feel free to correct me if you want.

Artemis that's my name. A Long long time ago a young elf prince gave it to me. He was the crowned elf prince of Mirkwood. His name Legolas he was a very kind young elf. I had saved him from drowning when he was only 10, well looked 10 anyway. Since he is an elf they age very slowly just like my kind. After I saved his life that day he wouldd often come see me. Each day just to learn about me and my race. Since we'll, im a mermaid. I'm the last of my kind. He and I grew up together and my feelings for him became one of love over time. I loved him but it was dangerous for me because mermaids can only love once. If my heart breaks it will turn to stone and stop beating, it will grow old and cold and it will stop and never start again. My body will live but it would be a shell of a mer. One day Legolas had come to see me by the river, he told me about a young she-elf named Tauriel. He told me about how he had feelings for her and how amazing she was. My heart hurt at those words. He had fallen for another. That day I told him I loved him and that I would never forget him. Then I grabbed his face with my hands and kissed him. When I kissed him a tear slid down my cheek, when it hit the ground it turned into a white pearl. I kissed him because I loved him but when I kissed him I took away every memory of him and myself. I let go and put my necklace around his neck. It was a green stone with markings on it. We called it our hearts we would give it to the ones we love. I looked at him one last time before jumping back into the water leaving the one I love.

"Someday you will return home too." Reluctantly, she opened one of the heavy wooden chests. The lid creaked loudly as it flipped back. A dusty cloak. Coins. Letters. Rusty nails. At least a few useful things. She threw the cloak over her shoulders, put the money in her pockets and disappeared outside. Was it worth it? What was still anything worth...? Her hand slid into her leather doublet. She felt something ... soft, very small in her hand. Slowly she pulled it out and eyed it. The little crushed blue flower. Forget-Me-Not. "I will never forget you." She made her way northwarth. Homecoming. The rights of the characters, which I have invented myself and built into this plot, belong to me. The rights of all other characters are owned by John Ronald Reuel Tolkien, Peter Jackson, Philippa Boyens and Guillermo del Toro. This fan fiction is not based on the book "The Little Hobbit" by J. R. R. Tolkien, but on the films "The Hobbit" directed by Peter Jackson.
