beyond the script: extra who stole eternal gaze
When a terminally ill young man awakens in the world of his favorite childhood game, he realizes he isn't the protagonist, the destined hero, or even a major side character. Instead, he has become an extra-a disowned noble barely clinging to relevance in a world where strength determines everything. Worse, his fate in the game was to die an meaningless death. Armed with only his knowledge of the game's storyline and a common system that tracks his stats and skills, he is determined to survive. But mere survival isn't enough. He remembers a hidden easter egg from a Eclipse vision-a power limited by game mechanics but unrestricted in reality. With voidstep as his trump card, he walks the fine line between fate and freedom, seizing power from the shadows while avoiding suspicion. As the protagonist and his allies battle against demons and unravel the game's grand destiny, he secretly builds his own strength-manipulating events, mastering forgotten arts, and even forging ties with villainous factions. Will he remain a footnote in history, or will he carve his own legend in a world that was never meant to be his?

Jack had almost hurt, or even killed, his friends by accidentally tripping over a curb and creating a massive blizzard. The Guardians were furious since the children's lives were momentarily put in serious danger by one of their own. After a heated argument between Jack and the others, he ran off. He was sick and tired of them not listening to him, always accusing him of something he didn't do, or in this case, unintentionally did. He went to his home again, but in the woods and out of sight. He ran into a witch, who he didnt even know lived there. She begged for some assistance in finding some herbs. Jack, however, declined the offer. She persisted, and that annoyed Jack. He had already been going through enough and this old witch wasn't helping. He then yelled at her to leave him be and to find her own "stupid plants". The witch wasn't happy, in fact, his blind rudeness angered her. So, she cursed him to mortality for 3 months. If he didn't learn how to handle hardships and what it's like being a human in that time frame, he would die. Jack soon meets an unexpected rescuer who takes him in and cares for him. Gamleon's Tail ~ Welcome to the worlds of : Within ~
I wrote this for EVERYONE. To appeal to anyone that reads ANY genre. It combines almost all of them. It's an introduction to the Worlds of Within universe. When you get to the action parts (which doesn't take long) you should be invested enough to want to unravel the mysteries and enjoy its intrigue... The flood is raging. A terrifying, heartless mountain of water, swallowing the world . The tunnel networks? Of course, that won't save them. The forests? Like leaves in a breeze. The lookout towers and trade hubs? Gone. Washed clean. Every home, every last trace of what once was. Gamleon is the first to see it ... and survive. His mind is near collapse, his heart broken. He runs. What would YOU do? What could anyone do? Some scrape by in a mythological setting of beasts and medieval men. Cruel, literally cold-blooded Gorgon hordes enforce an absolute rule slithering in the tunnels beneath the feet of every kingdom. There is an isolated, forgotten place. A cavern, magnificent and vast, older than civilization. A place where the weird and the unwanted might ride out this cataclysm if Gamleon can stay alive long enough to get them there.. In this special place, something incredible, cut off from the outside, lurks. Something... you won't be ready for or ever expect. Gamleon, our weary adventurer, is a paradox: terrifying to some perhaps, yet his heart and intent is helpful, with a quiet dignity bordering on noble, intimidating and innately intelligent. The only way back out is to navigate the Gorgon tunnels. Join him, won't you ? Share his inner thoughts . See and feel how they help us all learn how to persist and triumph in spite of a world where everything is stacked against us. ( sound familiar, it should.) Join him and be swept away as he encounters or invents never-before-seen innovations and outrageous challenges. Dignity meets hope. Self-respect shines beyond courage. Welcome my friend to the Worlds of Within.
