The Cousins Journey

After a new president is elected in the United States, nothing is the same. Insane laws are passed to keep citizens in line that prevent them from leaving to country with out special permission. But the most insane law passed is the Divorce Act of 2018, forcing divorced families to choose sides and never have contact with the rest of their family again, or they face execution. Karissa Harris never in a million years thought that this law would affect her family. She is extremely close with her cousins. But when her grandparents get a divorce and she is stripped away from most of her cousins, they ignore the laws and decided to stay in contact in secret. When Karissa and her cousins are about to be caught, they know they have to leave for their own safety and to stay together as a family. Join them on their journey to Canada in an attempt to keep the cousins together.
