John Laurens was running out of places to hide-from the NHL draft that had chased him year after year, to the contractor begging him on hands and knees to join the NY Rangers, and to the people who were always telling him he was meant for something he wasn't even sure he wanted. He feared that if he gave into his lost dreams, that he'd lose sight of what mattered most: his beautiful daughter, Frances. Life had never been easy for John, and it only ever showed him that he couldn't trust anyone but himself. After being kicked out of his ex's home, he was tirelessly searching for a place he and Frances could safely stay. Then he found Alex's flier. Alexander Hamilton had a child of his own and a dark past that read like a warning label. The only way he could escape the horrors of his mind was by faking it until he made it and writing what didn't make sense into a fictional world that did. With a dangerous amount of debt hanging over his head, so he constantly found ways to make extra cash between being a full-time student, employee, and father. He could hardly afford rent after booting his ex-roommate from the apartment and was desperate for someone to save his ass.

COVER: @SterioStories ***DISCLAIMER PLEASE READ: This book contains heavy topics of self harm, abuse, and ED. Please note that I was 13 when I wrote this book. I didn't know the severity and weight of these topics and how serious they actually were. I apologize for my insensitivity to the topics as now I am grown and realize the severity. I feel like it would be out of place if I went back through and changed the story as I would have to change a lot in the plot. So please don't take what I have written with a heavy heart.
