Elissa Zaumbea was both, one of the most respected and one of the most loathed necromancers in existence...at least in the last five hundred years. She was the half-sister to the infamous Leona Zaumbea-inventor of the Zaumbea curse, an incurable disease that had been wrecking the ninth realm for more than ten years.

The Zaumbea bite was infectious and could curse almost anyone it came into contact with. It took no more than their saliva mixing into an open wound to strip a para creature of it's natural born gift and enhance it with those of the cursed.

Thankfully, The Zaumbea sisters have a temporary cure that keeps the infected from losing their minds, as long as it makes it into the right hands...
