And Will wants Nico to start taking a little more responsibility for his health. Good times. But a new threat is on the rise, one that no one could foresee. Nothing involving monsters or ancient gods, no. Corruption. Somewhere in New Rome, a son of Ares discovers a loophole, a flaw if you may will in the Roman camp's governing and quickly makes his way to a high stand of power over the camp. He is in control of the camp, immediately abolishing Frank and Reyna as Praetor. His first decree?... wiping out the children of the eldest gods. The sons and daughters of Poseidon, Zeus and Hades are now wanted against the law with little to no odds of survival. Friends are made and broken. Loyalties shattered. Secrets spilled. lives ended. Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.). This is also still a first draft, so you know, it's not perfect. All rights go to Rick Riordan the troll who stoll (geddit?) my life. The first chapter is based on a some fanart (it was a cartoon) I read but the rest are my own ideas. Also, the original image on the cover is not something I drew (I wish). It's Viria's.
