The key to getting away with hatred was never known so the universe mended a tetrad of beings; vain vampires, dominant alphas, neutral betas, and submissive omegas. Since then, existence has never been the same. Betas and omegas coveted for noble potency. Vampires continued to desire for dynasty. But alphas, they remained bloodthirsty for carnage. Yet the list does not stop, for there is an equally treacherous existence, the Mafia. The mafia remains vicious and virtuous which provokes the norm to cower under their stare.
The smell of fresh coffee in the morning and the clattering of coffee machines that breaks the quietness of the shop.
"Hey Matt, are you free later?" Ren questioned his best friend.
"Hmm, I think so, why do you ask" Matt replied suspiciously
"Can you help me with one of the lectures?" Ren answered back
"Sure, why don't we close the shop together for a quid pro quo" Matt suggested
"Alright, thanks though, you're a lifesaver," Ren said with a gleeful tone and puppy eyes.
Suddenly, the bell tinged and the room shifted from a comfortable atmosphere to an excruciating one. A man revealed himself in the doorway panting as if running away from a swarm of zombies. He strides closer to the counter and Ren started.
"Are you alright, Sir?" The mysterious man appeared with beads of sweat in his forehead trickling down and still heavily breathing.
The stranger replied "Yes...yes I am"
"Alright, what can I get for you then?" Ren asked still conspicuous of the intention of the man.
