Is it lust or something deeper? From the second our hands touched, Marlee stole my heart. She's everything I've ever dreamed of in a girl, but a dream is all she'll ever be. She looks pretty happy with her boyfriend. I try to forget about her. Try to wash her memory away with shots of platinum liquid, but I just can't let her go. As the days turn into weeks and weeks turn into months, my feelings remain just as strong. No other girl comes close to what she does to me, which is kind of ridiculous considering we've only shared a few words. After almost a year of ups and downs, with downs being in the majority, I'm finally becoming the person I want to be. Will my new grasp on life give me the courage to talk to the girl who stole my heart, or is it time to let that dream go? Either way, it's time to stop letting life pass me by.

Four years ago, a 13-year-old blackmailed me into friendship by holding my doughnut captive. We've been close ever since. I soon noticed that I wanted to be more than just friends. I was in love with my best friend. But sadly, he didn't feel the same way. I thought my world was over. I was crushed. But to my utmost yet most delighted surprise, I just happened to fall into the arms of a certain bad boy. Literally. He didn't just save me from what could've been a hell of a concussion that night. He saved my heart too. But hey, let's not get in over our heads now. It wasn't that easy. Not even close. After all, when two opposing worlds clash for the very first time, we can't just expect it to be all rainbows and sunshine. Now, do we?
