Macy Lennie lives at a boarding school. Not just any boarding school- Sochiow Equestrian Boarding School. Here, jumping and dressage are her life. Literally. But lately, her unfailing love for horses is turning into stress, meaning Cassie Fleming, her biggest rival, and Chad Paten, the biggest flirt in the school.            

"We're going to see our new hor-sie! We're going to see our new hor-sie!" My parents voices rang joyfully in my ears. I was six years old, and we were driving to see my first horse, a Connemara pony mare named Peanut. Then it happened. A blue Chevy truck swung out of control on the icy road, slamming into the side of our car. Mom shrieked and threw me out of an open window into a patch of soft grass and snow. I watched as the Subaru tumbled down the small hill and started smoking.

I woke up later in my aunt's arms. "Auntie Hannah, what's wrong?" I asked, noticing tears beading down her face. "They aren't-"
Aunt Hannah cut me off. "Yes they are, dear. Your parents-" her voice broke-"Your parents are dead."All Rights Reserved

What will Amy do, her Grampa said to her that this was a chance of a Lifetime and not to worry about Heartland as they'll Just buy and breed more Cattle. Of course things take a different turn due to Ty's insecurities and while Amy's in the USA with Dark Horse, Calamity Strikes of Biblical proportions sending the US into turmoil with help being offered from the UK and Europe. Ty can't believe what's happened and for the first time in his life he prays that Amy survived, he knows which City she's in so sets off to find her, hoping that the city still exists.

He looked at me for what seemed like a long time but was really only a few seconds, as he slowly went to get up off the bed, he planted a kiss on my forehead and with that my conscience had a choice. Either let the moment die or try to save it. I was going to try to save it. I grabbed Peter by his shirt and pulled him back on top of me as we fell onto the bed all over again and this time, there was not stopping, there was kissing and the whole 9 yards. Until I laid there in his bed, the sheets covering every last inch of me up out of embarrassment. Peter and I just laid there looking into each other's eyes. This kept replaying in my head during the cab ride home from the airport.
