At one point, Esca finds herself in a pinch - completely losing her every remnant of motivation and passion - leaving her with nothing but turmoil inside her. And what makes it worse is that she's surrounded by people who are decisive and ambitious, the very opposite of her.

Low-spirited, she tries to adjust to her new life - a life without the closest people to her. In return, she meets new people who will be more or less her companions throughout her stay in senior high school.

Will she be able to rekindle her lost flame? Will the people she meets be of help to her in any way? Or will she continue to wander in a dark place where nothingness exists; only her and the uncertainty inside her that's been tormenting and thwarting her attempts at choosing her own path?
