I created this poem for Awwthentic's poetry contest. It's based upon the theme of her poem: "Picture Of You" and it contains my true feelings and emotions. I am very happy, because I won the contest!

The Days With No Sun
Sometimes we fear truth over reality. But things get dark and heavy and we play the blame game. We end up hurting others or ourselves even. We don't think before we act or we don't say before we do. This is the evolution of my madness. A cluster of rants and thoughts and poems for you guys. It's her. It can only be her. My desperation has struck new limits for this girl. There are a lot of odds against us. The undeniable attraction. The pain of not being able to touch one another. The scare of our future. And the uncertainty of whether we'll make it out together. We're two worlds apart. A distance that is seemingly impossible to cross. But I would do anything to be with her.
