Alpha is a clever, kind, magical, and unique soul, and she knows it. Unlike her fellow orphans in the Ebott City Orphanage, Alpha is fully aware of the meaning behind the old folklore surrounding MT Ebott and its sister mountains. Her older brother had taught her the whole history when she was young. Only one other human in all of Ebott City knows the whole tale, her "adoptive best friend," Cole Jackson Haliken.
This all changes when one of Alpha's closest friends, Chara Evelyn discovers alpha's collection of ancient books and journals that provide information from the "Forgotten Ten Year War," monsters, their abilities, weaknesses and relation to humans. Our story begins on this day, the day alpha began to understand just how different she was, compared to everyone around. She is starting to realize that she is a rock hard, but internally fractured diamond among fragile, passionate hearts and spades, and she has to learn exactly what that entails.

You climbed the famous Mt. Ebott to prove to a group of your friends that humans don't disappear when they go up the mountain. While walking around the peak, you trip over a root in the ground and fall forward, expecting to hit the ground. Instead, you were met with open air. As you fell down the large hole, you let out a shrill scream before hitting the ground and blacking out. When you wake up, you find yourself in the Underground where monsters had been banished to by the humans. You meet several monsters down in the Underground, some becoming friends and some becoming enemies. One particular monster though, has been making your heart flutter and your tongue get tied.
