Mileven AU...
Its difficult to move to a new town.  Especially one like Hawkins, where everyone knows everyone.  Jane Eleanor Hopper knows this better than anyone. Her dad, Jim Hopper has gotten the job of Chief of police in Hawkins, Indiana, meaning that Jane will have to leave her home in Chicago. A new place also comes with new challenges like making friends and fitting in. Maybe it won't be as hard as she thinks it will be though. Maybe she can grow to love the town of Hawkins and all the people that live there, maybe a few in particular.
This is my first fanfic, so it is probably not going to be very good.All Rights Reserved

Nick had always been protective of her brother, but how can she protect him now? AN: This will end up being a Steve x OC fic but I don't want to rush his character arch (which was so well done in the series). I'm also not going to focus on romantic relationships as I think it's important to explore familial love and relationships too (plus George is like 12 and I can't be doing with people shipping 12 year olds).
