Ever since she was taken from Earth in 1984, Valerie Rothwell has been living the high life of a galactic criminal. Doing someone else's dirty work, getting the money she needs, and occasionally getting caught and put behind bars. No worries though; she's escaped prisons over dozens of times before. But when the red-headed assassin turns to an even darker employer, tables start turning and she soon realizes that there is an entire plot behind her one simple task. It leads her to believe that she can't trust anyone and she has to keep her guard up at all costs; only until she is reunited with a very old friend.
Peter Quill is quite the character. After being abducted by aliens from Earth in 1988, Quill treks across the galaxy listening to hits of the ‘80s on his Walkman. Peter stumbles upon a strange orb that happens to be something that power seekers want most. It sends him deep into chaos and he might not be able to escape after finding out how much the orb is worth. After all, everyone wants a little bit of money.
