Jamie licked his bottom lip before speaking. “I don’t know much about you, but I’ll bet that I’m the last thing you think about before you go to sleep.” My head turned slightly as his fingers brushed my flushed cheek. “And I’m the first thing you think of when you wake up. “How do you know this?” My voice cracked a bit as I fought back tears. I still couldn’t get over what he had done.
