This is the first horror story I am trying to write. It's about a girl, Mira, depressed, has anxiety and PTSD. She goes out on a trip with her family to the Talatal Ghar, a palace built by the ahom kingdom, in Assam(India). It is said that the talatal ghar has secret underground maze like tunnels that were built as an escape route for the Ahom kings. Mira doesn't believe these myths about secret tunnels but then her beliefs are ripped away when she falls down into one such tunnel by mistake or intentionally lured in by someone or something. Will she survive in those tunnels where many soldiers centuries ago got lost and died or visitors before went missing never to be found again?

Life is an emotional roller coaster for Mira, a 16 year old who feels like everywhere she goes, something goes silent. As she goes on with life, she sees that there are people that can lift you up and there are others that will put you down. Slowly, she swirls into a suicidal state, and quickly her senses go silent for her, including her sanity. **depression and trigger warning** **art and music used are not mine** Author's note: It's been over a year since I wrote this, and just last night I reread this and I owe an apology to anyone I may have caused harm to. I wrote this in a dark time, and I've changed a lot since then. I might consider unpublishing this work. Please, please if you have any issues regarding your mental health, find someone to can help walk with you through your dark days. Before you read this story, there is a lot of raw emotion and blood. If you won't be able to handle this, please find something else to read. Or, you can read this with someone who can be there if you get sensitive by the content. I hope my readers can cope in healthy ways and find ways of healing safely. With love, Silver
