After the Giant War, Percy has decided he is completely done with the gods. Now, all he wants is to live a peaceful life, maybe go to college, spend time with his family, and live a some what normal life. But, it seems like the Fates have other plans for him. 

The Avengers are struggling with the return of everyone after the Blip. Tony and Natasha are dead, the world is in chaos, and no one is able to get along. With a new threat to the safety of the world, stronger enemy super soldiers, and public outrage, they're struggling to maintain connections and protect everyone. Nick Fury notices this and knows the only person who can help; Percy Jackson. 

In this novel, Percy Jackson teams with the Avengers to return stability to the world. However, it seems that their enemy is stronger than they thought. Follow the new team in their adventures across the world and they're reconnection with each other in The Deadly Prince.

Hydra had offered to bring her back safely as long as he agreed to the research for a year's time. He had dug further before accepting and saw the beginnings of discovering the nature of inhumans. In one perspective, if he volunteered himself, no one else had to get hurt and she would be home safe and sound. But, as the fates would have it, he volunteered for more than he signed up for and by the end or beginning of the end of it all, he had forgotten the purpose of it all. The pains of his past slowly melted into unconscious dreams of bliss as the present months caught up with him. Everyday it was dark, bleary, and routine. But, he had the gut feeling that he possessed something that could throw the world upside down. Something more than what his superiors politely asked him to tap into, yet never recorded down for fear that he would be dragged down further into the circle.
