Florence Hilton is a British farm girl training as a front line nurse in 1942. However, the US scouts put an end to the plan and whisk her away to camp toccoa to become the first female combat medic, she endures the formidable Captain Sobel, D-day, Operation Market Garden, Bastogne and is one of the first to enter the Eagles Nest. Flo was just a farm girl in 1942 but by 1945 she will no longer be the same girl, she has lost so much but has gained her band of brothers
