Dipper and Mabel are now 17 and decided to return to gravity falls ignoring the fact that the weirdmageddon happened. Mabel changed over the years, basically being an ass to dipper, bullying him, spreading rumours about him or straight up ignoring him.

The made Dipper sink into depression, Dipper didn't understand why he was treated like this but it didn't stop him loving he's sister. But he knows that love can't last. Dipper missed someone really important to him and when asked if he would want to go back to gravity falls he leaps at the opportunity.

After getting invited to a big party for the graduating class, Mabel finds out her brother won't be attending and plans to just stay home like always. She decides to take matters into her own hands and make a deal that would free their enemy but get her brother a friend other than just herself. Maybe it'll work, maybe Dipper will find out and hate her, or maybe there will be a loophole that no one saw coming.

After weirdmageddon, on the way back to their parents in California the bus Mable and Dipper were on crashed. The crash killed Mable and caused Dipper to go completely lose his hearing making him deaf with no options to regain his hearing ever again. Over the years he's managed to adapt. Learned sign language, speaks when he signs so he won't lose his voice as well even though he can't hear what he's saying, and he can read lips so he's able to communicate with people even if they don't know ASL. Things seemed to be approaching a new normal until his parents decide to get a divorce and he gets sent back to Gravity Falls while they figure it out. All of a sudden he's back in the one place he's been avoiding from all the trauma it caused him. Back in a place where no one understands him and treats him like he can't do anything for himself. Back with a faimilar demon who has yet again found himself drawn to the young boy.
