Darkness' Touch
She had a very perfect life as she was a perfect girl. She had everything she could ask for, a brilliant mind, wealth, and many other things, hence death never really crossed her mind. Waking up inside a novel is an unusual but very cliché thing, but the young brainiac didn't intend to lay low and hold herself back. "Make way for the protagonist? Hah. I lived my life pleasing no one other than myself. And I prefer it stays that way." The plan is to take everything she wants for herself. And in everything, she meant... Everything.
Raising a Hero
She had only wanted to have a working marriage and a happy family. Despite that, her husband leaves her for another woman after the loss of their unborn child, and just as she starts to pick herself up, she dies in a car crash. But this isn't the end of her story. Her spirit is picked up by her brother, a beginner god who needs help raising the hero of his fledgling world. Thinking he is offering her an opportunity to be a mother, she readily agrees, and he sends her down to his world with the gift of healing and a semi-ageless body to aid her on her quest. She quickly finds her little boy and is overjoyed to have someone to baby at last. But this hero doesn't want her as his mother. He wants her as something else. DISCLAIMER!!! Achieving Serenity
This is a compilation of short stories, each centering on a different principle for improving one's life. Often times I hear a good quote or lesson and wish I could read a story that illustrated them. With the new age of instant gratification, I have chosen to write stories that are very short and get to the point quickly. By providing 3-4 minute reads with each story, the reader is rewarded quickly without having to invest hours or days into a story in order to finally start digging at its central theme. Post-apocalyptic worlds, multiverses, and modern-day society are explored in these stories among many other established universes.
