Summer of Death || [COMPLETED]
In a city that never loved him, a broken soul searches for meaning in pills, lies, and petty crime. He needed money. He needed a way out. What he didn't need was to get stuck in a haunted bookstore with nothing but a relic of a book and the ghosts in his head. Diagnosed with ADHD and abandoned by trust, he's long since learned to trick, steal, and survive. But as hallucinations twist reality and memories return, he's forced to confront the pain he's run from. A ghost from his past urges him to change-but change doesn't come easy. After days trapped in madness, the door opens. He's free... but not unchanged. Hallucinations become memories, and a visit from a long-lost friend pushes him toward something unfamiliar: hope. When the lock finally breaks, he's still chaotic, still rough-but a sliver of warmth begins to grow, especially toward the brother he swore he didn't care for. --------------------------------------------------------------- !!
