Getting To Hogwarts - An attempt at fantastical travel writing.

This piece of writing is something I did during my time at uni. I was set the task of writing a travel piece and decided I would find it more compelling if I were to write it based in the world of fantasy. So I chose to set it within the Harry Potter Universe following the voice of a pompous advice columnist who works for Rowling's fictional newspaper - The Daily Prophet.
Just a side note; I do not condone or endorse any of Rowling's personal politics/ views on gender identity. Harry Potter was a huge part of my childhood and shaped me to be the person I am today. It is, in my mind, utterly separate from its author - who has proven herself to be a great disappointment to an entire generation. Regardless, Harry Potter will always have a special place in my heart and I hope you enjoy an extra little slice of the Potter universe without needing to be concerned about supporting a corrupt author.
