Alec is just the odd one out. His training partner, Jace, is almost like a brother to him, but little does he know that Alec might just like him. The only problem is that Jace is completely oblivious to this, and he only ignores Alec even more when a new girl shows up at the Institute. Alec is devastated, but then he meets Magnus. Will Magnus be able to fill the void that Jace couldn't? (if you have read The Bane Chronicles, you will know that this isn't exactly what happened, but shut your face; it's an AU)
