Ashe cried when he found out Dedue died. All those memories they shared, all the emotions he had yet to tell Dedue, just gone in an instant. Had he known that the last time they saw each other 5 years ago was going to be the last of a lifetime, Ashe would've said something more meaningful than "goodbye". So when Dedue joins the former Blue Lion house during the Battle at the Great Myrddin Bridge, Ashe knows it's now or never to express his feelings for his former classmate.
[Back on my bullshit, after two years, with the fanfics! Dedue x Ashe is such a soft ship and it's upsetting how little content there seems to be for them. so I'm writing my own :) it'll be a little OOC, especially Dedue since Idk how to exactly write him. also, putting this here: LANGUAGE WARNING!!!!
