These are my entries for the second DragonInk competition! The competition is based off of the Inheritance Cycle. Those participating write about a Rider and their dragon in a time after Galbatorix. I hope the judges like my entries! Fingers crossed!

Age of the Dragon 2: The Thedas Rider
The second installation of my Age of the Dragon Series. If you haven't read Return of the Riders yet, start there! Fallyn continues her journey to bring down Galbatorix but finds herself questioning her motivations and self before long. In order to put things back in perspective, she makes her way back to the place of her birth, Thedas, and becomes embroiled in its conflicts. Joined by Brom, an old storyteller who isn't who he says he is, and myself, someone who has a lot of bad luck, all of us must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds. Two hundred and fifty years after the fall of Galbatorix, Alagaesia is a very different place. Trading routes have been opened up all through the world with the country being the center of it all. Ilirea has become a thriving city and has grown immensely, with large businesses bustling, and tens of thousands of citizens living their daily lives. With the dragon riders thriving with the country nothing seems wrong. But with a large city comes a dark underground, and with rumours spreading the streets of a powerful new weapon not even the elves can compete with, the dragon riders find themselves losing what little control they have over the criminals hiding in the shadows. Ragin, professional thief and assassin, has been tasked with an impossible mission. One that has never been achieved before. Stealing a dragon egg. After Princess Lumina's return to power, a twenty five year gap of peace settled throughout Alagaesia.
