Time After Time

Connie turned to Ally.

"You just transported us into the WOODS!"she said, going into Connie-lecture-mode. She enunciated every syllable up until she yelled the last word. Which resulted in a flinched Ally. "If we're lucky you only transported to the woods behind the campus. We should be able to make it back in a minimum of ten minutes."
she yelled the last word. "And I told you not to touch anything!"

"You know that only makes me want to mess with it more!" Ally whined, but Connie didn't hear, she was already heading north- towards campus. "Connie, wait for me!"

Connie didn't wait, and they walked in silence.

Ally knew she should have stayed in bed today. Her twin had been working on her college science project for months- a time traveler.

Lucky Ally brings her sister lunch on their birthday- at the same time that Connie gets her machine to work.

Now, stuck in the past, can Connie and Ally fix the machine working before the past takes care of them in the worst possible way.
