Haven Gilbert is the oldest of Elena Gilbert, and Jeremy Gilbert each of the Gilbert siblings have their own way of coping with the death of their parents. Elena's way was writing her feelings in her diary, Jeremy's way was through drugs and alcohol. While Haven's way was different Haven would drown her sorrows in alcohol as well, but she'd mostly go out and party all night. When she wasn't at a party she would be in her room crying until she felt numb. But everything changed when the Salvatore brothers came to town.
